You can now fit QR assist stickers into Mercedes Benz vans built since 1996 for absolutely free! It’s also included as a standard on the new models.
The QR stickers are a very handy, they hold a lot of vital information within them and when they are scanned with a smart phone or tablet it can open up a digital rescue card, which includes the vehicle model, the location and other information such as cables and airbag information etc.
Using this information allows a faster and more efficient safe rescue in the event of an emergency, from Mercedes they say it can roughly save about 2 minutes of time, but dependent on the circumstances, that could be vital.
